    The 9th seeded player, Fernando Verdasco will not have easy task in second round of this year AO. He will have to meet with serbian player Janko Tipsarevic. Janko maybe at the moment has not so good ranking (he is on 49th ATP position) but still if he win today, it would not be the first time that he made a surprise on the strong tournament like Australian Open.

    Hardcourt is great surface for serbian player and in my opinion he will be equal oponent to Verdasco in this match. After all, so far Janko was more successful in mutual meetings, winning two of three matches.

    Its interesting that only win for Verdasco over Tipsarevic came on this same Grand Slamm three years ago (7-5,7-6,7-5).

    In my opinion it is hard to predict who has more chances to win today. Verdasco is better player,there is no doubt about that, but his form is maybe questionable. Although he is Top 10 player, for long time he does not play on that level.

    Considering on type of surface, I do not expect to many breaks of serv in todays match,so my choice will be:

    At least one Tiebreak to be played in the match.
