The match is played in neutral ground and the biggest rivals in Lithuanian football are meeting each other! But differently from the seasons before when both teams were fighting for champions title this year both teams have different objectives: Ekranas is fighting for the 1st place, FBK Kaunas hopes not to be relegated.
Ekranas started championship winning both matches: 3:0 against Dainava and 4:0 against Atlantas. Both easy wins. Ekranas won against Siauliai 2:0 in cup match as well. So this season their goal difference is 9:0 so far.
FBK Kaunas lost both away matches to Zalgiris and Suduva 0:3... and a cup match at home to Banga Gargzdai 0:5. Goal difference is 0:11. I watched all these games and in the match against Zalgiris, Kaunas had 1 chance to score, in the match against Suduva they had no chance... Suduva had to score at least 3 goals in the first half, but somehow managed to miss their chances and HT result was 0:0. But it should be said that Kaunas must be happy not to lose both matches with results 0:6 or 0:7. In the match with Banga, Kaunas had one good chance, but didn't score as well. Sadly that's all they can do at the moment...
It's really hard for me to write these words... but Ekranas is a really good team, and the team I support FBK Kaunas is crap at the moment. We have really young boys in our team and they can't do anything against older opponents. Especially it could be said about physical strength, after 10 minutes you can see our players tired but they can defend until the HT... and then after the break opponents score as many goals as they want.
It's not an usual game, it's game against Ekranas, so I hope to see Kaunas players concentrated, but I am sure they will not stand a chance to even draw this game. What I think is that Ekranas will try to win this game with many goals and show that Kaunas can not compare with them at the moment. It's totally different for Ekranas to play against Kaunas, than to play against FC Klaipeda or Alytus Dainava, so they will have much bigger motivation!
One more important thing: Kaunas will miss their best defender M. Fridrikas, and as Kaunas will have to defend all the match, I see big problems coming ...
My prediction... Ekranas will score at least 4 goals here! So, I was happy to enough to see Bwin offering odds 2.15 for Over 3.5 goals in this match! Odds are really great for me! If I were a bookie I would give ~1.85 odds for Handicap of Ekranas (-3.5), but when you get 2.15 for Over 3.5 is a gift, that's why I take it. Even if I don't see any goals scored here after 90 minutes, I will still think that's was a great bet! Kaunas haven't scored this season, but ... maybe tomorrow is the day they will!? That's even better for our bet.
Prediction: Ekranas v FBK Kaunas 5:1.
