Football, Ecuador Serie A
It's not usually a smart idea to take overs in Ecuador, but things are changing for Emelec, and I have high hopes about their play in this second part of the season. The most important change that Emelec made was on the bench. Asad left his place as a coach, and in his place came Juan Ramon Carrasco. If the name sounds familiar, it's because he came from Uruguay, where he previously coached Nacional, and his style of play is known as 'tiqui-tiqui', meaning that all the efforts go to the offense (he even said that he'd rather make a 4-4, rather than winning 1-0). And he's already preparing his favorite tactic, a very offensive 3-3-1-3, but since he didn't spend too much time with his new team, for today he'll just settle for a 4-3-3. Still good enough, as Imbabura isn't a team that could pose too many problems. I'm going for the over instead of the handicap, because in their last 6 matches, Emelec won only 1, but from those 6, there were 2 overs, with 3 other matches in which both teams scored. Emelec has the power to win 3-0 here, but I won't discard Imbabura, as a 2-1 is pretty much on the cards. GL!
