Have to admit that my first thought here was to take the DNB for Independiente. But the odds were already going down, and I decided to skip it, since there was also a pretty big chance that it will be void. But now I see some nice value in the handicap on LDU. Yes, they are missing almost their entire regular team, but it doesn't mean that the reserves are awful players, and LDU has a long history of not losing when playing with reserve players (most famous - last year in December, they played against Deportivo Quito with a few reserves and a lot of youngsters, ft 1-1; most recently, last weekend against Manta, ft 0-0). A lot of players from the game against Manta will also play today, and that's good, since they should be gaining in confidence. LDU made a pretty good match on Sunday, even had some chances to win it, and I don't think Independiente is a better team than Manta, on the contrary. Bieler will once again command LDU's attack, and he'll want to prove he can get back to his previous form. All in all, the value is definitely on LDU, as I doubt we'll see anytime soon the same odds for X2. GL!
