    Genk look to get back on top as soon as possible. The defending champions are now staying at seventh place with 12 points behind Anderlecht. If they don’t start winning by now, they will be losing ground soon. Lucky for Genk that their adventure in European football has finally over so they can be focusing solely on domestic front from now on.

    Cercle Brugge are sitting at fifth in the standings, three points above Genk. They are doing quite well this season and have lost just twice on the road so far.

    Despite their current position, I believe Genk can get themselves back to the top group. Holding superior head to head record against Cercle Brugge, Genk are favorites to win this tie. They have beaten the visitors with an average of about two goals in their last five meetings at the Cristal Arena. Plus, no more Champions League action, Gent will pour everything they have into this game to grab up the year of 2011 with a victory.
