    Stuttgart host the mighty Bayern Munich at their Mercedes Benz Arena on Wednesday. The home side has gone three league games without a win, so they turn attention to the Cup and hope a win would bring more confidence back to the players. Stuttgart eliminated Frankfurt and Hamburger SV to book this game against Bayern.

    Bayern, meanwhile, got a little set back last weekend when the failed to beat Hamburg. The result dropped them down to second place, two points behind Dortmund. The chance for them to retake the lead is mathematically possible but I’m a bit doubt since Bayern will be stretched in three fronts, Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB Pokal while Dortmund have only two.

    Anyway, I expect two teams to field their regular players and if this happens, we will see lots of goals. In their last five meetings (in all competitons), both teams produced 26 goals, that is an average of 5.2 goals per game. Hence, I am going for the Over 3 goals.
