    News about the teams:

    Völpke promoted last year from Verbandsliga Sachsen-Anhalt. It was a big surprise that they did promote and not Lok Stendal. In the preseason Völpke didn't impressed me much. Against Wolfsburg (A) they lost 0:8 and against Union Berlin 0:6. Last preseason-game against 1. FC Magdeburg II (promoted to Landesliga = 6th league) they won very lucky with 2:0. The 2:0 was an owngoal and a 2:2 would tell the truth. Völpke's defence isn't strong enough to stand against other Oberliga-teams and offence is too harmless. Also they are missing tactical discipline. The match against Halberstadt new player Christoph Grabau (offensive midfield) and experienced backward Ronny Röper are injured.

    The team from Halberstadt made a good preseason. The last two friendlys they won against Ludwigsfelder FC (also Oberliga) 5:1 and Lok Stendal 3:0. Halberstadt has 5 new players in their 1st team. They made good games in preseason. Halberstadt's goal is to end season on place 5 to 8. And that's what I also think they will end. ALso I think they'll take some points from some of the big 4 teams (1. FC Magdeburg, Sachsen Leipzig, Hallescher FC, VFC Plauen). Against Völpke Halberstadt kann play with the best team.

    René Heckeroth
    He came from TSV Völpke and is an allrounder on right side. He plays in right defence, right midfield or defensive midfield. He is only 1,70m but very strong in 1vs1 (Zweikampf, no idea about the English word) and very fast.

    Randy Gottwald
    He came from Lok Stendal. He's the new boss in defence and replaces Thomas Pfannkuch very good. He's strong in headers and in 1vs1 (Zweikampf).

    Ladislav Stefke
    Lazi came from Dessau. He is a technical good player and good at freekicks. He is one of the players that can decide a match. His position is behind the forwards but he also can play in left midfield or as forward.

    Ingo Vandreike
    He came from MTV Gifhorn and is the best new player in team. He plays defense midfield and is the boss on the field (he has experience in 10 years Oberliga and Regionalliga). He is very strong in 1vs1 and has a strong shoot and he shoots the standards.

    Fait Banser
    He came from 1. FC Magdeburg. He made 24 goals in preseason-matches. But sometimes he has a lack of concentration in front of the goal. He's very strong in headers.

    I expected odds around 1.65 for Halberstadt...
