    Catalans to win.

    The Dragons have had a terrible season so far but play off football is not out the question just yet. A win here could kick-start their campaign and this is certainly a fixture the French have a good record in.

    Salford beat Saints last week in one of the shocks of the season. Im not sure we should read too much into that 1 though because Saints simply didnt fancy it. This happens from time to time in super league. The big side turns up and is not focused so they lose to rank outsiders.

    Outside that result Salford have been pretty poor all season. Warrington crushed them 2 weeks ago and even todays opponents Catalans- who cant buy a win- have beaten them twice this season.

    Forwards win rugby league games and the French are a lot stronger up the middle. There should be a good crowd behind them today and a pretty intimidation atmosphere. It is never easy to visit here because of that and also the very phyisical home side who do not mind turning games a little nasty.

    I expect Catalans to win this by a couple of scores. They simply have to perform and get back to winning ways because another defeat would mean their league season would be over with. That would be unaccpetable for the coach given the quality of squad he has and the previous years achievements. They will be really fired up.
