    Obviously there is a lot of players who will be backing up after origin but even so i expect Manly to have far too much power for the Cowboys.

    Only 3 wins for the season now for the Cowboys. Their play off hopes are getting shorter every week so a win is needed. Its needed badly. To be fair they have had to cope with a horrific injury list- which is still a problem- but at last the fans have their 2 big stars back Bowan and Thursden are close to full fitness.

    Manly have a number of their star players backing up so we may see the likes of Jamie Lyon start of the bench. This is no bad thing because a game in that sort of heat will be perfect for him coming on closer to the end of either half when big guys start to tire.

    Manly lost to the Eels last week and i think that defeat really hurt. Im expecting them to be desperate to get back to winning ways and to take it out on the Cowboys. There is no doubt NQ have plenty of class in attack but the forward line is still missing a number of vital names. Manly should have too much for them up the middle of the park and their power should leave Cowboys play off dreams in tatters.
