    For the passage to the semi-finals of WTA tour in San Diego, Svetlana Kuznetsova will play against young American player Coco Vandeweghe. If we look at recent results of Kuznetsova we will see that of the last 11 matches she played even 9 times third set, with just one win in straight sets. It was almost three months ago at Roland Garros against Sorana Cirstea. So it seems that Svetlana can not beat almost anyone in straight sets.
    But now great opportunity for that. She will face Vandeweghe for whom this third round is probably the best result of her career.In the first round of this tournament she beat Gisela Dullko. But it was not surprising given that Dulko was injured and that because of thst she could not finish the match. But what is surprising Coco made in the second round beating this year's Vimbledon finalists,Vera Zvonareva. I remind ypu that Coco is only 205th players in the WTA rankings. But I think it was her last surprise. What gives me confidence, is a much better form of Kuznetsova than in previous tournaments. Although even here at San Diego against Yanina Wickmayer and Sara Errani she has played matches in three sets,I think that today we can expect her much easier victory.
