    Spurs kept all the players and didn’t signed anyone, except that Robbie Keane came back from Celtic, where he was on loan. That’s sounds strange, having in mind that their manager Harry Redknapp is a shrewd dealer in football market. But on the other hand probably it shows, he is happy with his squad. Players don’t need to adapt to each other and their communication on the pitch should be fine from the first game.
    Roman Pavlyuchenko and Jonathan Woodgate are only absences.

    David Silva, Yaya Toure, and Aleksandar Kolarov joined Man City, with James Millner and Mario Balotelli on the way to Manchester as well. That’s another more than 100 millions spend.
    But Craig Bellamy seems will be on his way to another team. And with only few days to go manager Mancini still haven’t named his 25 players list. Man City also have two top goalkeepers in Given and Hart. The last one just had his game for England and also eyes himself as first choice in Man City goal. It’s a big task for Mancini to rotate his big squad of stars, which in my eyes he failed to accomplish last year.

    Spurs have beaten Manchester City in 11 out of their last 12 matches in the league - City's only victory came at home in March 2008.
    Tottenham won 6 games in a row at White Hart Lane against Manchester City. 5 games finished with the same score 2-1.

    All stats goes in favour of Spurs. Also Harry Redknapp kept all the main players, they know each other very well. City on the other hand again signed almost half of the team, all newcomers are from different countries and they will need time to adapt to English game.
    This is opening game of new season and Tottenham might have some sight on very important game on Tuesday in Champions League, failure in which will have massive impact on teams finances. That’s why I will go with safer option and my main bet is Tottenham (-0.25AH).
